About GMCO

Since its founding in 2009, the Global Mission Chamber Orchestra (GMCO), formerly known as CTS, has been dedicated to nurturing exceptional young musicians through musical excellence, leadership, faith, and service. As part of the International Association of Professional Music Teachers (IAPMT), GMCO brings together audition-selected musicians ages 13–18 who share a passion for music and a desire to make a meaningful difference.

Under the artistic leadership of Dr. Andrew Park, an internationally active pianist, educator, conductor, and Shigeru Kawai Artist, GMCO provides rigorous ensemble training while developing discipline, collaboration, confidence, and leadership. His vision extends beyond musical achievement, inspiring young artists to discover how their talents can serve and uplift others.

At the heart of GMCO is the belief that music reaches its greatest purpose when it is shared. Through concerts and outreach performances at nursing homes and community organizations, GMCO musicians bring encouragement, comfort, and hope to those they serve.

More than a youth orchestra, GMCO is a community of young artists united by excellence, faith, compassion, and purpose—using the power of music to inspire hope, serve others, and make a lasting difference.
