CTS String Ensemble earned second place for chamber groups in an international music competition.
CTS String Ensemble and Kama Choir raised $2,580 to help fund Grace Land, an organization that provides music education for disabled people.
In collaboration with Songsolnamoo, a Korean flautist, CTS String Ensemble raised $2,450 to provide food, medicine, and other necessities for Ukranian refugees.
GMCO held a joint concert with the Hana Choir and True Worshippers, which provided an opportunity to support musicians with disabilities. Through the sale of our handmade soaps, the orchestra was able to raise $2,000.
Once a month, CTS String Ensemble performs at the Bell Christian nursing home, or Sun Mar Nursing Center. Performing for the elderly and spreading joy through music will resume when safety precautions allow.
Although COVID-19 may have affected our ability to play in person, CTS String Ensemble has managed to surpass these obstacles and still bring musical joy to the ears of many.
Each year around Christmas time, CTS String Ensemble gathers up weeks of hard work and professionally records a Christmas broadcast for thousands of listeners.
Every year, CTS String Ensemble participates in the "Hope Concert" along with other groups from CTS America. The "Hope Concert" is a benefit concert that helps out a different group of people each year. This includes disabled people, sick people, those in need, communities in need, and more.
CTS String Ensemble went busking at the Source Mall in Buena Park, to play for whoever is shopping or eating there. Through busking, we are sharing the joy of God and music to those going about their daily lives.
CTS String Ensemble participated in the special live broadcast "CTS Week" which is a fundraiser for missionaries who have been struggling financially during this pandemic.
